By investing with Wellers Impact you could help deliver long-term financial security to not-for-profit organisations.
Wellers Impact works with ethical partners who seek to transform lives by improving business development, education, mentoring, community building and poverty eradication programmes.
Financial Independence & Sustainability
Through the co-development of land and subsequent annual rental income generated by the development, our partners achieve greater financial independence and
sustainability. This allows to invest and grow with confidence and deliver better services to more people, ultimately increasing their impact and transforming more lives.
The sustainable income stream allows the not-for-profit partner to expand the provision and range of essential services and programs they provide to local East African communities. The social impact generated from greater educational support, business training, financial literacy, youth mentorship and more, is transformative. These services help people to empower themselves, break the cycle of poverty, complete their education and start their own businesses.
Apprenticeships & Employment
Apprenticeships play a major role in supporting local people and businesses through our development projects. They provide unique on-site opportunities for professional development. See George's story for more information on the impact of apprenticeships.
Our local construction partners meet and exceed local environmental requirements. Water harvesting, renewable energy and energy efficiency are important features of all our developments.
Transformative Not-for-Profit Partners
Our not-for-profit partners are all unique, have incredible stories, histories and impact. It is not uncommon in East Africa for these essential organisations to have affiliations with faith organisations or to operate with a faith-led mission. Wellers Impact does not discriminate and aims to work with organisations of all faiths and none, and only selects partners who are non-discriminatory in the communities they serve.
Wellers Impact endeavours to empower these organisations to be financially sustainable and independent in order to expand their work and transform more lives.
Kenya Students Christian Fellowship (KSCF)
KSCF works alongside the Kenyan Ministry of Education to tackle tough social issues through the secondary school system in Kenya. They provide teacher conferences, seminars and camps to students and teachers along with coordinating volunteer teaching assistants in across the country.
Currently, constrained by a lack of income, KSCF reaches half of Kenya’s secondary schools with their programmes. Through the development of their land with Wellers Impact, they endeavour to expand to all 8,700+ secondary schools in Kenya.
